Description and Requirements

We are seeking skilled QA Developers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Web, Mobile, Android TV and/or STB applications across various platforms. This role involves developing and implementing testing strategies, identifying and documenting bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. The QA Developer will also contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

  • Proven experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium 4, Appium 2.0, Playwright, XCTest, TestNG, Maven, etc.

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Previous experience in Agile development methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Skills:

  • Proven expertise in manual testing of web and mobile applications.

  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium 4, Appium 2.0, Playwright, XCTest, TestNG, Maven, etc.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, etc.

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Experience with GitHub Actions, including workflow automation and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficiency in utilizing GitHub Packages for dependency management and package publishing.

  • Hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD platform for automating software delivery pipelines.

  • Familiarity with cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack and LambdaTest for cross-browser and cross-platform testing.

  • Previous experience in Agile development methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

  • Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Additional Qualifications (preferred but not required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, ASTQB) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Performance testing concepts and tools.

  • Experience with mobile device testing and emulators/simulators.
