Description and Requirements
Your role:
Drive identification of requirements across business units
Take ownership of your product and service portfolio – and curiously search for minor and larger improvements in close collaboration with our business managers
Support our business managers in developing and implementing new competitive, initiatives
Support your team(s) with timely business clarifications, feature creation, backlog prioritization, and participation in relevant PI planning and scrum events
Drive identification of requirements across business units
Be inclusive and communicative in relation to all stakeholders and colleagues
Develop an understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle (e.g., Studio framework), actively work to improve experience and skills
Identify opportunities to improve the overall product lifecycle processes
Use customer needs, research, user studies, metrics, and competitive analysis to document business and product requirements and inform the backlog
Support and participate in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into enhancements
Own and manage product documentation ensuring it is clear and easily consumable by-product, cross-functional and engineering teams
Report status and manage risks within their primary product team
Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business management
Work with the Development and testing teams during the dev life cycle
Be able to translate business features into technical requirements
Experience:
Help develop and manage a product or project budget/P&Ls (e.g., compiled estimates of cost drivers, developed bottom line numbers)
Demonstrated consistent success working with partners across other functions in support of product go-to-market strategies
Take the time to fully learn the business requirements and associated use cases
Understands and can explain the product set to cross-functional and senior managers
Recognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialog to resolve them
Verbal and written communication is clear and concise
Improve team processes that accelerate product development, and delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality
Has skills in test-driven and behavior-driven development
Understands customer journeys and ensures a Mastercard good experience by continuously reducing Mean time to mitigate (MTTM) for incidents and ensuring high availability
Experience developing user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
Requirements
Have several years of experience as a product owner with a proven track record
Experience with Agile and SAFE, experience with ALM, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools
Have a structured mindset and the ability and interest to understand the technical side of our products and combine it with your product owner skills
Be able to execute independently and feel pride in taking accountability for own tasks
Experienced in UX/UI and customer journey mapping
Experienced in working with development teams
