Position overview:

As a Business Intelligence Specialist you collect, analyze and transform data into actionable insights to inform business decisions.  You ensure data quality, preparation and distribution of reports to present business findings to stakeholders. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Understand business processes and requirements to identify and follow up on data quality issues and ensure correction in line with business rules

  • Collect, analyze and interpret large datasets

  • Prepare and distribute periodic data quality summaries according to established guidelines

  • Prepare and distribute reports using established processes and tools

  • Provide guidance around procedure compliance and reinforce training when new procedures or changes are introduced

  • Collect and document feedback of issues and opportunities for improvement in tools, processes, and workflows

Functional competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence technologies and tools, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Looker Studio

  • Basic understanding of business processes and objectives to apply data quality guidelines

  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends and patterns

  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems, analyze information and standard practices to make judgements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a distributed environment with remote leadership



Qualifications:

  • 1 year of work experience in a similar position within the contact center industry - Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related field - Desirable

  • B2 oral and written English - Mandatory
