Information Technology - Information Services, SaaS Developer Intermediate - TELUS Digital El Salvador & Guatemala


Position overview:

As a SaaS Developer- Intermediate you contribute your expertise on designing, developing, testing, configuring, deploying and maintaining custom applications that meet the unique business requirements of our organization for SaaS applications (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Cosmos/Workvivo, Workday, etc).  You create solutions using web- based technologies such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess the requirements prepared by the Business System Analyst (BSA)

  • Build the technical design and perform the development/ modification of applications

  • Support the creation, execution and fixes of the quality/ stress testing

  • Deploy changes to testing and production environments

  • Develop custom scripting, including schedules and batches

  • Create and share the technical documentation to support the solution (Application & Development, user manual, testing manual)

  • Perform maintenance scheduling; identify, correct and document defects or inconsistencies

Functional Competencies:

  • Intermediate- advanced knowledge of software development (SQL, software design pattern, object-oriented programming) and software languages (Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML) 

  • Intermediate- advanced knowledge of SaaS platforms

  • Intermediate application of ITIL framework

  • Custom scripting

  • Intermediate knowledge of Devops methodology (CI/CD, pipelines, version control)

  • Analytical thinking and ability to solve technical problems

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related careers

  • English - B1+:

• Oral and written comprehension.

• Appropriate use of language

  • Certifications according to the SaaS platform (Certified SNOW Administrator, Salesforce Administrator.
