Commercial Enablement, Project Management Project Manager II - TELUS International Guatemala

The TELUS International Commercial team is looking for an experienced project manager to join the Commercial Enablement team in enhancing the customer journey through improved sales and onboarding processes. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end accountability and management of projects and/or programs for business initiatives and should have a background in business skills. This includes management, budgeting and analysis, among others.

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage stakeholder relationships

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements:

  • Schedule flexibility (adherence to different time zones) 

  • On-site presence may be required 

Qualifications: 

  • Great educational background, preferably in the field of process improvement

  • Excellent internal communication skills, particularly in remote working environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Leadership.

  • Teamwork.

  • Analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

  • Strong organizational,  analytical and logical skills.

  • Ability to deal with conflict.

Knowledge:

  • English - B2-  Required

    • Oral and written comprehension.

    • Appropriate use of language.

  • Strong Google Suite, Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint 

  • Advanced knowledge on project management methodologies, tools, principles and practices and in the coordination and creation of project teams 

  • Strong business process knowledge

Studies & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Statistics / Information Technology / Management or other relevant fields (or at least 3+ work experience on these or related fields) -  Mandatory 

  • 5 years of experience managing programs in the call center industry (i.e. Operations Management, Training Management, etc) is a plus

  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector, with cross-team project success

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in GSuite and web technologies

  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus 

  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certification - Desirable
