Mergers and Acquisitions Manager - TELUS International (El Salvador & Guatemala)

 

  

About the role

 

Mergers and Acquisitions Manager evaluates an organization’s opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and oversees M&A project management process including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing and integration. Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk. Additionally, the role will participate in negotiations that involve preliminary work for potential deals. Analyzing industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities including the review of company fundamentals and financial statements.  The M&A Manager will also provide superior analysis in the evaluation of acquisitions, divestments, trades, and joint ventures, to maximize value created in line with corporate goals

 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Coordinate and execute the full cycle of M&A activities, including opportunity targeting and evaluation, primary/confirmatory due diligence, deal execution, and integration

  • Monitor and manage risk and opportunities, including stakeholder assessment and change management risks

  • Perform research and monitor commercial business and identity development opportunities

  • Develop and deliver an integration program that ensures long term value

  • Organize and plan various M&A business set up and processes 

  • Develop and architect an efficient commercial communication network

  • Perform research and monitor commercial business and identify development opportunities

  • Monitor and implement post merger integration that defines appropriate scope and objectives

  • Valuation, deal structuring and negotiations

  • Performs other duties as required

  

Studies & Experience:

 
  • Bachelor/Master degree ideally in a finance, business administration or related specialization from a reputable University;

  • 5+ years of experience in the mergers and acquisitions environment, investment banking, private equity, consulting or any related field.

  • Proven track record of successfully executing mergers and acquisitions.

  • Extensive knowledge of the M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation

  • Proven ability to produce high quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use

  • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills

  • Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in English

 

Knowledge:

 
  • Proficiency in English Language C1 - Mandatory

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of Google products.
