Description and Requirements

We are seeking a Data and AI Strategy Director/Senior Director to lead transformative initiatives that harness the power of data and AI to drive business success.

This role is critical in developing and executing strategies that leverage advanced analytics and AI technologies to optimize operations and enhance decision-making processes. 


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics, AI, and management consulting, with a proven track record of delivering impactful results. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of data and AI strategy at TELUS Digital.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of data and AI strategies that drive digital transformation across the organization, with a focus on optimizing contact center operations and customer experience.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and AI to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced customer interactions. 
  • Drive the adoption of AI technologies, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and automation, to improve decision-making and business outcomes. 
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis, including data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning model development, to uncover insights and inform strategy development.
  • Develop and present business cases that clearly articulate the ROI of AI-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and securing stakeholder buy-in. 
  • Collaborate with global executive leadership teams to present findings, drive strategic decisions, and ensure the successful implementation of data and AI strategies. 
  • Partner with business development teams to craft compelling proposals, provide accurate estimations, and deliver pitches that highlight the transformative potential of AI.   

Required Skills Experience: 
  • 6-10 years of experience in management consulting, with a strong focus on data analytics and AI. 
  • Proven track record in leading data and AI strategy initiatives, with a significant impact on business outcomes. 
  • Expertise in advanced data analytics, including data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI model development. 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences. 
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity with autonomy, confidence, and a focus on speed to value. 
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, data analytics platforms, and their application in business transformation. Autonomous, proactive problem-solver with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is required.
