Description and Requirements

TELUS International is seeking candidates with experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing to assist in the development of AI technologies.

Task description:

Review and modify a translated text from English to Spanish, to improve its quality and fluency. The goal is to ensure that the post-edited version reads as if it were originally written by a native speaker.

It is composed of two phases:
1. Post-editing the machine-translated conversations phase: In this phase, the post-editor works on the output generated by a machine translation system. The post-editor thoroughly reviews the translated conversations, sentence by sentence, and makes necessary edits to correct any inaccuracies, improve grammar and syntax, rephrase awkward constructions, and ensure overall coherence and clarity.
2.Evaluating the quality of the post-edited machine-translated conversations:

Once the post-editing phase is complete, the post-edited translations undergo quality evaluation. This evaluation aims to assess the overall quality of the post-edited conversations and ensure they meet the desired standards of fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence.


  • Bilingual Spanish (US) and English (US).
  • Machine Translation or Localization Experience.
  • CAT experience.

Desired skills:

  • Experience in the health tech industry.
  • Advanced degree in translation or a related field.
  • Additional language proficiency in other languages.
Compensation: $0.2 USD per word.
Payment will be made via Hyperwallet in our AI Community Manager platform.
Workload: 4 hours per day (20 weekly) at the minimum.
