TELUS International is looking for participants for an Onsite Research Study with Ph.D in the field/s below:

·         Biological Sciences

·         Microbiology

·         Public Health

·         Epidemiology

·         Biodefense and Biosecurity

·         Infectious Disease Ecology

·         Bioinformatics

·         Security Studies

·         Global Health

·         Veterinary Medicine

·         Virology

Compensation: USD 600 per session

Duration of task: 6 hours

Location: On-Site (Los Angeles and/or South Bay area, CA, and Washington, D.C.)

Task Description:

To help us better understand the risks from biology-related capabilities in search and language models, we are asking participants to help us probe the frontiers of these tools. Candidates will interact with a new AI chatbot during the research study. The task is estimated to take six hours in total, the first hour is for the introduction and delivery of instructions, and 5 hours for engaging with the chatbot. Participants will be provided refreshments during the duration of the task. Registered participants will be able to select weekdays or weekends depending on their availability.
