Internship: Finance, Payroll Analyst- TELUS International El Salvador


 

About the role

 

The Payroll Assistant is responsible for ensuring the calculation and exact payment of salaries and fees of each of the employees of our company, in addition to complying with the timely submission and payment in the different entities governed by the legislation of El Salvador, within of which we can mention the ISSS, AFP, ISR, bank loans, etc.


Responsibilities:

 

Elaboration of General Payroll, in the EVOLUTION system, taking the strict privacy and confidentiality controls that the information demands, carrying out the accounting process of the different Salary and/or Honorary Policies, establishing and supervising the opportune registry, making revisions to Payroll, based on the generation of reports and corresponding verifications with which the information and payment to all employees is as accurate as possible, provide timely the different consolidated reports related to the Payroll of Employees which serve for the taking of decisions in the different accounts or areas, preparation and presentation of reports of monthly and annual Income Tax (ISR) of all employees, Labor obligation reports (SPU), contract termination calculation, accounting, among others.

  • English Intermediate.

  • EVOLUTION or similar Payroll Programs - Advanced

  • WORKDAY or Similar Accounting Programs - Advanced

  • Labor Laws - Advanced

  • Tax Laws - Advanced

  • SPU (Pension and Social Security System) - Advanced

  • Microsoft Office - Advanced

 

Studies & Experience:

  • Student in Business Administration, Accounting, or related area - Required

  • Minimum two years of experience in similar positions - Required

  • Completed the position-specific required course from the Learning Multiverse Fundamentals - Mandatory.

*The Special Project will last a maximum of 6 months.
