Position Overview:

Responsible for developing and winning large transformative deals with strategic targets , this position reports to the Vice President Transformation and Strategic Sales at TELUS International.  The successful candidate through rigorous account and deal planning will manage a new logo sales pipeline to achieve ambitious growth targets and help TELUS International gain wallet share with strategic prospects.   You demonstrate a strong interest for Digital Customer Experience, selling BPO solutions for Customer support and Trust and Safety while designing digital roadmaps to meet changing market dynamics.  Youand have the gravitas to articulate the benefits of our partnership to the C Suite.

You are expected to work on various sales opportunities in the industries which TI is well known for including but not limited to fast-growing tech, financial services and fintech, games, travel and hospitality, healthcare and ICT industries.  Additionally, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of collaboration, and influencing at all levels of the organization, and have a keen eye for detail.  This role will work collaboratively with various TI departments including Product and portfolio, Finance, IT, HR, and Operations.  

Responsibilities:

  • “Leading the Charge” within the key verticals by developing the sales for TELUS International. Developing opportunities from zero to close, through the cycle from initial discovery to solution scoping and development, proposal development, negotiation and contracting.

  • Creatively sourcing access to key target clients through networking, referrals, events, marketing collaborations, outbound prospecting, eco-system and creative ideas

  • To identify, build and develop a network of key business stakeholders, decision makers and influencers in target and existing markets

  • Using Insight based selling techniques by Identifying challenges within prospective target partner customer operations and business models to gain access to key stakeholders for deeper discussions on how TELUS International can solve the problems  

  • Translates client requirements into profitable deals while working in collaboration with Sales Operations, Finance, Real Estate and Operations.  

  • Establishes open and honest communication regarding all aspects of the client’s request (new and existing) while anticipating new offerings that will be mutually beneficial for clients and TI.

  • Ensures that the sales pipeline is the single source of truth for appropriate new logo growth in future performance forecasting.

Skills & Abilities

  • Experienced in developing, leading and influencing C-Level discussions with target clients.

  • Resourceful ability to access target client organizations internationally to build relationships.

  • You will have a curiosity to uncover the challenges being faced by target clients and a problem-solving ability to develop a solution in real-time.

  • Commercially astute with an intuitive understanding of the stage of a prospect’s decision-making process and the steps necessary to move them through their decision making process. An understanding of how to educate clients on how to make the decision is of relevance for “first time outsourcers”.

  • Strong interest and developing knowledge of Digital Innovative Solutions and competitive landscape.

  • Strong experience and competency in “Closing” Deals

  • Prioritisation of tasks through logical analysis

  • Ability to map stakeholders and to network within a target client organisation

  • Disciplined progression and reporting of opportunities 

  • Natural interest in capturing intelligence and sharing with internal teams to enhance the overall development of the TELUS International


Required Experience and Education:

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in a senior role with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales results.

  • Experience working with global teams, Proven track record of closing $10 to 50 Million+ transformational sales per year  in a similar industry 

  • Deep and broad experience working in a publicly traded company mainly supporting with a strong preference towards a b2b environment.

  • Bachelor Degree of Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineer or. A Master Degree or Specialization is a plus in Business Administration, Finance or a related field of study is a plus.

  • Multilingual candidates preferred

Location:

  • A remote position where TELUS International currently operates but Candidates located in the U.S. or Europe are preferred.

Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $200,000 annually commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
