Position Overview 

Telus International is looking for Sr Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional programs within Telus International. This roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/program changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the overall commercial program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver.

  • Own the Commercial business cadence of leadership, executive meetings

  • Onw the management of Board, ELT and cross functional communications and updates

  • Develop and oversee the strategic planning and execution of business programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.

  • Manage executive presentation materials and meetings. Overseeing follow up action items.

  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver program outcomes within the stipulated timelines and budgets.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Conduct regular program reviews and report on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management.

  • Drive the identification and resolution of issues that impact program scope, quality, risk, and timeline.

  • Mentor and guide project managers and other team members to enhance their professional skills and ensure project success.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by initiating and leading change management processes to enhance business processes and systems.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support program goals and expand the company’s reach and impact.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful program delivery.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in project and program management software tools and methodologies.

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Location: Remote United States

Pay:

The base compensation range for this position is $80,600 - $100,750 commensurate with experience. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
