The Global Server Operations Systems Administrator Senior is responsible for installation, maintenance and support of server infrastructure to ensure the operation of global systems in order to provide performance and availability for its users, such as staff, customers and suppliers, as well as attending incidents related to the technology vertical in a timely manner. Additionally works hand in hand with Engineering departments to collaborate on the optimization of previous designs and or new platform implementations.
Main Responsibilities:
Act as the third point of contact for other technology stack teams seeking technical support in relation to Server Infrastructure.
Ticket management and resolution - P2-P1 Incident tickets (Priority). Might be engaged in P3 Incidents serving as a supporting guide to less senior resources.
Handles technical escalations from the entry level Server Administrators as well as other technology stack resources or team members.
Documents and Implements complex Normal Changes, as well as Emergency Changes.
Performs peer reviews for Method of Procedure and enforces Policies and standardization.
Assess technology stack operating procedures and create proper documentation to enable a framework for Server Administrator less senior team members.
Works along other teams to plan and deploy major patches and/or upgrades to the entire multitiered Infrastructure environment stack.
Operates medium to highly complex tasks on VMWare, ESXi, Horizons, Storage, and Physical Servers.
Addresses identified vulnerabilities within the platforms and assess the resolution of them along with the creation of a plan for global mitigation
Operate VCenter and ESXi Instances, configure and operate DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, NTP, Shared Folder Services, Proxies, Miscellaneous Operating Systems, and related technologies.
Provides Support to Global Security Audits acting as POC from IT Server Operations Team within the Auditor Interviews and overviews evidence collected to be provided to auditors.
Perform other project related duties as requested by management, including mid to high complex hardware and software maintenance on servers devices/ cloud, virtual services.
Teamwork and Remote Work skills, including mentoring at a distance.
Takes ownership of major projects coordinating with multiple areas ensuring proper communication of progress in a timely manner.
Troubleshoots and identifies technical problems, diagnoses error messages, determines causes, and either provides resolution or escalates to the proper support team if a design change is required.
Records interactions into the ticketing system ensuring accurate and complete ticket updates on either requests or incidents, including updating CMDB.
Responds to escalation requests and notify management as required.
Contributes to the improvement of processes and knowledge base.

Qualifications:
vCenter & ESXi Strong knowledge and practice background
Windows Active Directory strong knowledge and practice background
Windows Infrastructure Services: DHCP, DNS, DFS, WSUS, NTP, WSFC, Certificates.
Strong troubleshooting knowledge and understanding for multi-tiered architecture.
Strong Linux Administration: administration, maintenance, deployment, upgrades.
Powershell Scripting and Bash Shell Scripting.
Storage SAN and VirtualSan knowledge and practice background.
Cisco UCS and Dell Servers Knowledge (VxRail + HyperConverge/Hyperflex)
Strong Cloud Technologies knowledge (GCP, Azure, AWS) .
Miscellaneous Application Services; Proxy, Webserver, SFTP, Postfix, etc.
DevOps Technologies Knowhow (Docker/Kubernetes/Containers/etc.)
Knowledge:
English - B2 - Required
Oral and written comprehension.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Advanced

Studies & Experience:
Bachelor Degree of any IT related course and minimum of 5+ years experience in a systems development role - Desirable
Experience in Virtualization VMWare, VCP/VCP DTM - Certified Professional - Desirable
Experience in the entire Windows Stack. MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional - Desirable
VCP DTM - VMWare Certified Professional Desktop and Mobility - Desirable
Experience in Virtualization, VMWare and Virtual Desktop Environments
Experience in Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and entire Windows Stack
Infrastructure Management, Physical Servers, Physical Storage, etc.
Strong Knowledge in Cloud interaction in any/all of these technologies: GCP, Azure, AWS
Minimum of 5+ years experience in a systems development role
