Procurement, Procurement Analyst III - TELUS International El Salvador


About the role

The Procurement Analyst III is responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to the procurement area. It is also responsible for contacting and interviewing locals for the supply of equipment or services suppliers, and monitoring purchasing procedures, taking into account different quotes, delivery times, quality, and billing processes. 

 


Responsibilities:

Respond to requests for quotation and purchase of products that Operations and administrative areas request (IT, Human Resources, Security, Accounting, Management, WFM, etc.); coordinate with suppliers receiving orders and inform to warehouse for the reception process; preparing purchase orders in Workday, entering all the required data such as date, the supplier company name, cost center, invoice type, place of delivery, purchase amounts, description, unit price, and others.

Knowledge:

  • Excel Intermediate - Required

• Functions: SUMIF Joint, average, Count, conditioning formulas ( IF, AND, OR )

• Preparation and presentation graphics

• Find the data value by VLOOKUP.

• Format Cells

  • English - B2:

• Oral and written comprehension.

             • Appropriate use of language

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar - Desirable

  • Knowledge of Workday - Desirable

  • International Logistics Knowledge - Desirable

 


Studies & Experience:

  • 3rd year  in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related career - Desirable

  • Minimum 2 years as Procurement Analyst - Desirable

  • Experience in negotiations with suppliers - Desirable

  • Experience as an event organizer or event planning - Desirable
