IT Operations Analyst - Information Technology - TELUS International El Salvador

 

Position overview:


IT Operations Analyst is responsible for providing technical support to both operations and staff in all the different applications used in the company, always looking for continuous improvement in the processes established, and is also responsible for ensuring the availability of computer resources to the organization.

 


Key responsibilities:


Provide technical support to the various technological platforms of the company (hardware, software, telephony) and implement security policies, ensure connectivity systems, coordinate and monitor the implementation of best practices and support projects, support the area technology in the development and operation of accounts, among others.

Functional competencies:

  • Excel - Intermediate :

• functions ( sum, average, maximum, minimum, etc. )

• Preparation and presentation graphics.

• Dynamic tables.

• Search the data value by VLOOKUP

• Format Cells.

  • Customer Service - Advanced.

  • Windows Server - Basic.

  • Computer Maintenance knowledge  - Advanced.

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, telephone equipment, etc.

  • Knowledge of Linux - Basic.

  • Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and resolving network problems.

 

Qualifications:

  • English - B2:

• Oral and written comprehension.

• Appropriate use of language.

  • A third-year level Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related careers - Desirable

  • Preferably with 6 months’ experience in similar positions.

  • Technology certifications (A + , Network + , Server + , MCP , CCNA, ITIL,etc. ) - Desirable
