Description and Requirements


As Linguistic Project Manager you will manage administrative and operational elements of projects to assure successful completion and Client satisfaction while meeting company financial goals for the project. The Project Manager is the primary Client contact.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading team of linguists to fulfillment of performance targets set for the year 
  • Planning, prioritizing and assigning workload to relevant team members 
  • Serving as gate-keeper of client deadlines 
  • Trouble-shooting, training and mentoring the team 
  • Preparing guidelines for semantic, syntactic and morphological analysis
  • Evaluating and analyzing data quality 
  • Participating in project managers meetings, syncs and side-projects 
  • Providing insight into team’s performance, identifying blockers and opportunities 


REQUIREMENTS 

  • Full Professional fluency in English
  • Native fluency in Vietnamese
  • At least 2 years experience in a natural language processing project (e.g. Assistant, Siri, Alexa, etc.) 
  • Graduate degree, or comparable work experience, in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics 
  • Knowledge of semantics and syntax 
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
  • An interest in natural language processing 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Able to multitask effectively and adjust smoothly to changing priorities 


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with linguistic annotation in semantics and syntax 
  • Experience programming or scripting, and working in Linux/Unix environment
