Description and Requirements
Job Title: Language Curator
Location: Remote with on-site day approx every 6 weeks.
Working hours: 7.5h per day, 5 days in 7 (assignments of days during hiring).
Languages: working on English locale
Salary: 31200k p/a
Duration: 3 month contract with possibility of extension
Summary:
Join our AI team in Ireland! You will work in an agile environment carrying out data analysis, identifying and resolving issues and collaborating with colleagues in.
We work with a major tech client improving the model for AI software systems.
Responsibilities:
Verify content accuracy, ensuring it meets the provided standards.
Make possible edits, fixes, or suggestions to the data content when needed.
Make decisions on content, often with limited information on hand.
Report any patterns of issues observed to help improve database and product performance.
Test database tools to provide feedback for improving efficiency and accuracy.
Work and communicate with cross functional team
Escalate when necessary
About the Candidate:
Fluency in English Familiarity with MacOS and iOS
Sharp problem solving and analytical skills, along with ability to learn from history and actively help errors from reoccurring
Must be highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proven ability to maintain motivation and focus on detailed tasks
Comfortable with navigating ambiguity, with ability to make sound judgment calls
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with reporting and proactively engaging with colleagues whilst demonstrating professionalism
A wide range up-to-date knowledge of movies, TV shows, music, literature, and social media platforms
Passion and enthusiasm for media, entertainment, music, art, and or literature
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual skills in languages other than English (not essential)
BS/BA Degree Experience 1+ years experience ideally in web research, content reviewing, proofreading, copywriting etc.
Note: This position is remote, requiring occasional on-site visits (quarterly).
Weekend work may be required depending on core schedule assigned, and alternating cover required for public holidays (typically 1 to 2 BH days per team member within any year).
