Description and Requirements

As a Recruitment Analyst specializing in interviews for our BPO division, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process for internal and external candidates. In addition to traditional recruitment tasks, this role requires active participation in call monitoring from our programs to ensure a comprehensive understanding of candidate profiles. As a representative of TELUS International, you will engage with potential candidates, assess their suitability for various roles, and communicate the advantages of joining our dynamic team. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing specific tools to conduct evaluations during the recruitment process.

  • Providing detailed information about TELUS International and the hiring accounts to candidates.

  • Offering continuous support and follow-up throughout the evaluation and interview stages.

  • Guiding and coordinating candidates through final interviews when necessary.

  • Providing constructive feedback on the recruitment process for each applicant.

  • Supporting various functions within the Recruitment Department.

  • Assisting in the initial stages of the hiring process for new personnel.

  • Conducting and processing candidate interviews, including language proficiency and technical/personal competency assessments through automated tools.

  • Evaluating applicant profiles based on the specific requirements of each hiring account.


Daily Job Duties:


  • Screening resumes and conducting in-person/phone interviews with candidates.

  • Administering relevant company assessments.

  • Performing reference and background checks.

  • Coordinating interviews with hiring managers.

  • Following up on the status of the interview process.

  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external clients to meet staffing goals.

  • Updating information on each applicant's progress.

  • Staying informed about current vacancies, including accounts, departments, language levels, and schedules.

  • Participating in meetings to calibrate criteria for assessing language proficiency and various BPO profiles.



Mandatory Requirements:


  • English Level B2 or above - Mandatory

  • French Level B2 or above - Mandatory

  • University Degree (Psychology, Business Administration, or similar).

  • Schedule flexibility and availability to work on-site.


Skills:


  • Technical proficiency in web-based technology and social media for recruiting efforts.

  • Networking skills to build professional relationships and negotiate effectively.

  • Team coordination abilities to achieve common goals.

  • Analytical thinking for examining applicant profiles and identifying suitable candidates.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Autonomy and experience with high-volume, full-cycle recruiting.

  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

  • Ability to understand BPO metrics and industry specifics.

  • Ability to multi task and comply with aggressive deadlines to meet recruitment goals


Knowledge:


  • Understanding of operational tasks and responsibilities.

  • Time management and prioritization skills.





Education and Experience:


  • University Degree  or 4+ Years  in (Psychology, Business Administration, or similar).

  • Experience in Massive Talent Acquisition, Staffing Agency/Search Firm Recruiting, or Human Resources (Required).

  • Professional-focused technical skills, including CRM platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems, and internet sourcing methodologies (a plus).

  • Experience managing Business Process Management tools for pipeline management.
