We’re looking for an HR Business Partner (m/f/d) for our location in Essen

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Advising management on disciplinary processes and preparing warnings and letters of termination
Advising and coaching managers on all HR topics and labor law issues
Acting as the first point of contact for all HR related queries from all team members
Supporting and guiding team managers and employees about company policies and HR best practices
Implementing HR processes/tools such as employee surveys, talent, performance and succession management, etc.
Supporting our employees with administrative processes and the preparation of documents such as certificates and references
Supporting the planning and organizing of engagement activities and events for the company team members
Maintaining a good and constructive working relationship with stakeholders on-site
Supporting and participating in the performance review process
Participating and assisting in other international or local HR plans, initiatives or projects
Ensuring full compliance with company policies and HR procedures
Assisting and educating team members and managers about Workday processes
Driving our Engagement survey and close cooperation with the Management on action plan creation
Close cooperation with our Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Comp & Ben teams
What we expect:
Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Relations, Humans Resources, Psychology, Law or similar would be an asset
3+ years of HR experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Excellent German and good English language proficiency and communication skills
Knowledge of German labor law and of working with works councils
Highly empathic, approachable and open personality
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive cases and topics
Team player with excellent time management
Ability to work independently and good stakeholder management
Highly-developed organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to find creative, out-of-the-box solutions
Workday knowledge would be a plus
